Mexico and the United States are neighbors, and they share several places on the border. The culture and Mexico and the United States are quite different from each other. There are several dissimilarities among the people of both the countries and in several ways.
The culture, beliefs, tradition and the way the societies function are quite different from each other. However, today, you find a distinct relation between these cross border countries with a blend of cultural similarities. The culture ofAmerica has always been heavily influenced by the British and the European countries. There have been several immigrants who literally set up the United States and have followed the age old European culture. However, immigration of other nationals into the US brought in people from various continents and countries of the world. The Mexican culture on the other hand has always maintained its culture without diluting it or getting influenced by the American culture.
Starting from the language, English is the primary and the only language that was spoken in the United States for a long time. In Mexico, Spanish was the language that was spoken and it still continues that way. Also, Mexico is the country that has the largest Spanish speaking population in the world. Mexican families are very close knit and they avoid any influence of other cultures on their own. Their customs and etiquette are very valuable to them. However, due to economic strife and other political reasons several Mexicans came into America. Some came legally, while most of them are illegal immigrants. This immigration brought Mexican culture into the US.
