European culture has a great diversity and you cannot find this type of flavor in any other type of culture. France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and the United Kingdom all have a distinctive culture of their own. They are worlds apart in the languages they speak and the customs they follow.
To sum it up, European culture it is usually referred to as the Western culture and this includes the United States also. Culture usually refers to the norms of the society, the traditions, ethics, morals, religion, attitude and the politics of the respective country. Arts and technology are also an inclusive part of today's culture.
The European culture has been evolving and has gone through several changes over the last few centuries. However, one could draw overall inferences in these cultures and even chalk out some similarities. The cultures of all these countries coincide in some ways.
The Old European culture was widespread, and many parts of the world followed similar cultures. Even modern European culture has this kind of an effect where the whole world is emerging into a similar culture pattern. It is quite complicated to understand the culture of a large geographical area in general. One needs to segment it into smaller areas so that the effect and the cultural practices of an individual country can be studied. Europe consists of many countries and all these countries are diverse when it comes to the languages spoken. Religion followed or their traditions. However, when it comes to business practices, music and arts, one can draw some similarities in general.
